Canigao Island is one of the hidden Gem in the Island of Leyte. Once known as the fisherman's sanctuary in the municipality of Matalom. The island has become a major tourist destination in Eastern Visayas since 2005 and has gained overwhelming popularity recently. It is an islet with white sand beach.
Every vacation my family won't miss to visit this island. It's very affordable and the right place to enjoy family reunions and weekend getaways especially on summer.
